Assisted Living: Our custom care approach to assisted living allows residents, staff and other health care professionals to develop a service plan that meets the individual needs of each resident. Your needs do not have to fit into a pre-determined package of services. Services include medication management, assistance with personal care, escorts to dining and social programs and coordination of healthcare needs.
Residents in Assisted Living have full access to both our Restaurant style dining room and our intimate private dining room. There is a long walking path contained within the safety and security of the community’s common grounds.
A crackling fireplace is nestled in our cozy living room where regulars gather to share stories and to chat about the day’s activities. Our Tea Room table sports the day’s local newspapers and current magazines. Our stately library is brimming with books on various subjects, puzzles, videos for private viewing and the internet for surfing, online shopping and for keeping in touch with family via email.
Assisted Living residents enjoy the St. Francis Room, a calm place for spiritual meditation and counsel. It is carefully stocked with pamphlets on dealing with the concerns of life’s many changes. It houses a small altar and soft music designed to create an atmosphere of quiet repose.
The Gathering Room is a place teaming with fun, games and social engagement. We gather here to share movies, documentaries, mentally stimulating games, Bingo, afternoon tea and various crafts. The room is fitted with a big screen TV and plenty of comfortable chairs.
The middle of the day is a great time to visit our onsite Beauty Salon or to take a stimulating whirlpool bath in our private spa.
BridgeHaven Program: BridgeHaven is an innovative new program that provides a more structured environment for residents suffering from mild to moderate degrees of dementia. Residents can choose from a variety of apartments and have the opportunity to participate in specially designed memory support programs.
The Gardens Dementia Care Program: The Gardens combines old-fashioned care and compassion with the most current programming techniques and research findings. Residents who suffer from Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia benefit from a residential setting and receive the care and services they need.
The Gardens specializes in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Emphasis is placed on 24-hour care centered on the needs of each individual resident. We have a well-trained support staff, which includes a Wellness Director, care staff and a Chaplain. We restore dignity to those suffering from memory loss in an atmosphere of kindness and respect. We have created a faith based, loving atmosphere of caring, support and compassion for our residents through every stage of their memory loss.
Mental Stimulation: Several interactive therapies are used to assist each resident to remain actively engaged, mentally stimulated and calm. There is daily interaction with other residents, trained staff members, family and friends. Participation in a variety of art, music, games, crafts and professional entertainers provides mental engagement and entertainment.
Life in the Gardens: Our Garden residents enjoy a life filled with a full activities calendar, which includes lots of one-on-one interaction with each person. Each week is filled with art therapy, scenic drives, and gentle scenic walks through the garden, gardening, ice cream socials, movies and interaction with our Assisted Living Residents. Life is shared in our bright open family room with several comfortable places for family and friends to sit and visit. Our fully trained and licensed staff provides and monitors each resident’s medication in accordance with their physician’s orders. Garden residents also have access to the luxuries of a spa and on-site beauty salon to maintain their appearance and stimulate their spirits.
