Founded in 1961, Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) is one of the nation's largest non-profit providers of housing and services for older adults, persons with disabilities, and economically disadvantaged families.
RHF is a non-profit organization of 155 communities in 24 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
We provide housing and services to more than 16,000 older adults, economically disadvantaged families and people with disabilities.
Our Mission reveals our goals, our Vision offers a view of how we would like our world to be, and our Philosophy and Values states the beliefs of our Board of Directors, local community Boards, and national staff of 2,600.
RHF Difference
Organizations take on unique personalities based on a number of factors. Its leadership, history, and roots all play an important role in developing that character.
But it is the people within the organization that play the biggest role in molding its persona.
Whether it is the founding fathers of RHF, the residents who call an RHF community "home", the 2,600 people who work tirelessly to ensure that RHF is providing the needed services to its residents, or the incredible number of people who give of their time, talent and treasure - all of these factors have contributed to making RHF the great organization it is today.
